Step 1
Add:
0.5 fl oz TFA Rich Demerara Syrup
0.75 fl oz fresh lime juice (1.5 Tablespoons)
8 fresh mint leaves to a mixing glass and muddle all 3 in a swizzel motion with a bar spoon or muddler. Cheers to you if you have a swizzle stick! I don't....

Step 2
Then, add 2oz of aged dark rum, swizzle some more and strain into a highball or any tall glass.

Can you tell I do not own a swizzle stick? A barspoon worked great for me.

Step 3
Add crushed ice to glass until it covers the top of the glass. Add 4 to 6 dashes of aromatic bitters to the top of the ice.
Step 4
Garnish with a dense sprig of mint, take one step back. Admire this thing of beauty. Sip and let the flavors melt away the day!
